The First Shift Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of the parking operation at CMH.
This individual will manage 80+ employees including cashiers, maintenance and license plate inventory.
The scope of management and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Being the liaison between the Airport Authority and Parking Solutions Inc
- Being responsible for implementing and enforcing Parking Solutions Inc and CMH policies and procedures.
- Ensuring adherence by all personnel to established rules, procedures and regulations of Parking Solutions Inc.
- Being responsible for all administrative requirements, including the functions performed by clerical assistants
- Long-term staffing requirements; the final selection and dismissal of all Parking Solutions Inc. personnel.
- Planning, coordinating, scheduling and being responsible for the work of all Parking Solutions Inc employees and supervisors
- Handling vendor bids
- Financial reporting
- Accounting procedures
- Revenue Control Operations
- Facility cleaning and maintenance operations
- Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5+ management experience
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- A professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong organizational and analytical ability
- An assertive, discliplined character
- Exposure to a diverse, multicultural staff
- Being detail-oriented as well as customer service oriented
- Cash handling experience is a MUST!
- Experience in budgeting, auditing and reconciliation
- The ability to accommodate a flexible schedule including being on-call after hours
- The ability to pass background and both pre-employment and random drug testing
- Valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations in three years
- A strong work ethic
