We have an immediate need for a part time cashier at a downtown Columbus location. Applicants must have prior cash-handling experience. Qualified applicants must possess excellent customer service skills, have HS diploma/GED, strong organizational and communication skills, and have the ability to pass a background check

Cashiers need to possess: 

·         The ability to read, write and perform simple arithmetic calculations.

·         The ability to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers to process transactions, answer questions, greet customers and perform other daily activities with courtesy and tact.

·         The ability to understand, and provide instructions and make relatively straight forward comparisons between numbers and letters.

·         Courteously and efficiently collect the parking fee and provide tickets and receipts as needed to patrons.

·         Perform other clerical duties

·         The ability to work a flexible schedule, as the hours are varied.

THERE ARE TWO POSITIONS AVAILABLE AT THIS LOCATION, AN AM POSITION & AN PM POSITION.

***Hours for the morning position is Monday-Friday 7am-11am 
 ***Hours for the evening position are Monday-Friday 1pm-6pm. 

The candidates need to possess: 

·         Exceptional customer service skills

·         Be a minimum of 18 years old

·         High school diploma or equivalent

·         No criminal record

·         A professional appearance and demeanor

·         Reliable transportation to and from work

·         Good organizational and problem solving skills

·         Basic verbal communication skills-ability to converse with customers  

·         Ability to effectively communicate and work within a team environment as well as having the ability to work well independently

·         At least six months outside cashier or cash handling experience 

·         Ability to make light decisions (count cash/make change) 

·         Ability to effectively communicate with customers in English

·         Good grasp of basic math skills

·         Good manual dexterity
