Lot Supervisor Job Description
Department: Operations
Reports to: Area Manager or other designee
Hours: Monday 2 PM - 12AM, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 4AM - 2PM
FLSA Classification: Hourly, Non-Exempt; Full-time or Part-time
Position Summary:
Oversee the daily operation of an assigned lot. Direct and supervise parking lot staff. Courteously and efficiently provides parking tickets and/or receipts and collects parking fees from patrons at lot locations.
Essential Job Functions:
· Provides parking services in a safe and efficient manner
· Greet customers warmly, with a smile & provide an excellent customer experience
· Provide directions or general information to patrons
· Maintain cashier work area in a clean, neat manner
o Remove trash at end of shift
· Collect appropriate amount of money in exchange for parking ticket/receipt
· Keep money and tickets neat and secure
· Reconcile daily cash drawer
· Adhere to cash handling procedures
· Keep booth secure
· Every set of keys has a claim check attached and when not in use is either on a carabineer of locked in the key box
Essential Qualifications:
· Minimum 18 years of age
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Able to safely drive manual transmission vehicles, 3+ months experience
· Reliable transportation to and from work
o Must be at station and ready to perform duties at scheduled start time
· Minimum of 6 months cash-handling experience
· Excellent customer service skills
· Good verbal communication skills: ability to speak, write and comprehend English
· Ability to work independently and work as a team member
· Ability to follow directions
· Good grasp of basic math concepts
· Good manual dexterity
· Good organizational and problem solving skills
· Comply with PSI background and drug testing policies
